A Lamborghini has been caught on camera dangerously speeding at 226MPH on a UK road. Another driver captured the lime green supercar zooming down a 70mph motorway at break-neck speed in the east of England.
The Aventador LP760, which costs £440,000, was driven on the outside lane by an unknown driver going three times the speed limit – faster than the Japanese bullet trains that cut through countrysides at 200mph!
The spectacular blink-and-you’ll-miss-it show was criticised by road safety campaigners after the video was posted online.
Gary Rae, senior campaigner for Brake, said: “This is an appalling case of dangerous driving. Speed is one of the biggest killers on our roads, even at much lower speeds than this selfish driver.
“Every day, five people lose their lives on UK roads. Through the support we provided to victims’ families, we see the devastation caused in the lives of the loved-ones left behind. Limits are there for a reason and drivers should stay well within them.”
